Meet Our Team

Dr. Aaron Warner

Dr. Warner earned his Biology degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, where he was honored with induction into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Indiana University School of Optometry in 1999. Following graduation, he completed a residency at the Bay Pines Veterans Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he gained extensive experience treating patients with glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration.

Since 2001, Dr. Warner has been proud to live and serve the Greenwood community. In 2013, he founded Warner Eyecare in Greenwood, which has since transitioned into Bargersville Eyecare following its relocation to a new office in 2026. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and remains committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered eye care.

Outside of the office, Dr. Warner enjoys spending time with his wife, Maegen, their two grown daughters, and son-in-law. In his free time, he enjoys being active in their church and is an avid fan of a wide range of sporting events.

Dr. Lindsey Nicholson

Dr. Nicholson earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Biology from Indiana University in Bloomington before going on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Indiana University School of Optometry in 2021. During her final year of training, she completed a clinical rotation at Charlotte Eye, Ear, Nose & Throat Associates, where she worked alongside both optometrists and ophthalmologists. This experience provided her with extensive training in the diagnosis and co-management of conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. She has also developed a special interest in the treatment of dry eye disease.

Dr. Nicholson is originally from Greenwood, Indiana, and is a graduate of Center Grove High School. She is proud to serve patients in the community she calls home.

Outside of the office, Dr. Nicholson enjoys spending time with her husband, Josh, and their basset-doodle, Artemis. In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.

Amy

Amy grew up on the south side of Indianapolis and graduated from Perry Meridian High School. She now lives in New Whiteland with her husband Kenny and two sons, Jackson and Landon. In her spare time, Amy enjoys scrapbooking, reading, and spending time with her family. Amy began her career in the optical industry in 1984. She was the first team member of Warner Eyecare and has been an essential part of our office since we opened in 2013. Amy wears many hats in our office including performing preliminary tests as well as coordinating insurance benefits. She is fantastic at calming any patient anxieties during their exam and helping them to feel at ease.

Jenny

Jenny has resided in Greenwood since marrying her husband David in 1990. She has three grown children and enjoys spending her free time with all of her grandchildren. Jenny has worked as both an optician and technician since 1982. Our patients have been benefitting from her vast clinical experience since she came to Warner Eyecare in April of 2016. Jenny takes pride in getting to know all of our patients and strives to meet their visual needs on a personal level. Her favorite quote is “Let your faith be bigger than your fear.”

Jessica

Jessica was born and raised in the Indianapolis area. She started her optical career in 2008 and found her passion. Jessica loves that it allows her to incorporate health, math, customer service, and fashion all in one. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pets. Jessica’s hobbies include reading, listening to music, and watching football.

Sue

Sue spent her early years in the great states of Michigan and Ohio. However, she soon made Greenwood her home in 1975 and eventually graduated from Greenwood High School. Sue and her husband, Paul, have two grown sons. When she is not working, Sue enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and four grandchildren. Since starting her optical career in 1995, Sue has found that she enjoys helping patients select their eyewear and teaching new contact lens wearers to learn how to care for their lenses. Sue’s hobbies include traveling, meeting new people, listening to music, sewing, decorating, and shopping.

Halee

Halee was born and raised in Greenwood, Indiana and graduated from Center Grove High School. She now lives in Bargersville with her husband Conner and daughter Poppy. In her spare time, Halee enjoys spending time with family, sewing/crafting, traveling and writing her Little Notes of Kindness. She also attends Emmanuel Church in Greenwood. Halee started in the optical industry in 2019.

Shelby

Born and raised in Mooresville, Shelby Kerr graduated from Mooresville High School. Shelby loves spending time with her family and golden retriever, Beau. She also enjoys playing golf and spending time outside in the garden. Shelby started in the optical industry in 2020 and loves helping our patients find the perfect eyewear to fit their style and functional needs.

Paige

Paige was born and raised in Muncie, IN.  She moved to the Indianapolis area with her husband Matthew in 2016.  In her free time she enjoys reading, collecting house plants, and spending time with her fur-baby cats, Loraine and Ladybug.  Since starting her optical career in 2016, Paige has found her passion in creating long-lasting relationships with patients as she helps educate them on what eyewear will fit their personal needs.
